Martinsville, Ind. – The Martinsville Police Department is finishing up its annual Clothe-A-Child next week.

The 2018 Clothe-A-Child – a program that provides the opportunity for police officers in the community to team up with children to shop together – will wrap up on Thanksgiving this year.

Children are chosen by the Metropolitan School District of Martinsville and will get to shop with local officers on Tuesday, December 11. Clothe-A-Child allows the Martinsville Police Department to provide clothing for 80-100 children each year.

Donations are accepted all year and can be sent to City Hall at 59 South Jefferson Street, Martinsville, IN 46151. Checks should be made payable to Martinsville PD Clothe-A-Child, in the attention of Police Chief Matt Long. Any donations made after Thanksgiving will go to the 2019 Clothe-A-Child.
