A motion was made by Boardmember Eric Bowlen to accept the Minutes of February 4, 2019. Boardmember seconded the motion. The Motion passes 3-0.
City Engineer Josh Messmer presented a letter of engagement for Taft Law. The agreement is for Eminent Domain projects related to I-69 construction. A motion to accept and allow the agreement was made by Boardmember Eric Bowlen and seconded by Boardmember Terry Buster. The Motion passes 3-0.
No Parking Signage / Industrial Park – DPW Craig DeMott appeared to ask the Board of Works to allow the reinstallation of “No Parking” signs on the streets in the Industrial Park. A motion to allow the signs was made by Boardmember Eric Bowlen. Boardmember Terry Buster seconded the motion. The Motion passes 3-0.
Alley Discussion – DPW Craig DeMott and City Engineer Josh Messmer explained Milestone is doing I-69 construction and has offered the City the millings from the construction. It was explained the millings can be recycled into asphalt that can be used to fill pot-holes in the City’s alleys. The Board of Works asked DeMott to get quotes. Clerk Treasurer Becky Tumey suggested funding could be split between Street, Water and Sewer.
