MINUTES

A motion was made by Boardmember Eric Bowlen to accept the Minutes of April 1, 2019.  Boardmember Terry Buster seconded the motion.  The Motion passes 3-0.

ENGINEER REPORT

None

NEW BUSINESS

Emergency Water Repairs – City Engineer Josh Messmer requested the Board of Works declare two recent water repairs as emergencies.  The locations of the water repairs were just off Lincoln Hill Road and at Grand Valley.  A motion to declare both repairs as emergencies was made by Boardmember Eric Bowlen.  Boardmember Terry Buster seconded the motion.  The Motion passes 3-0.

Morgan County Economic Development Annual Contract Renewal – Mike Dellinger, Director of MCEDC appeared to request the Board of Works renew the contract for 2019.  The contract will not exceed $60,000.00.  A motion to accept and allow the contract was made by Boardmember Eric Bowlen.  Boardmember Terry Buster seconded the motion.  The Motion passes 3-0. 

SEWER ADJUSTMENTS

  1. 290 S. Sycamore St.; $61.18

  3. 737 S. East St.; $2,784.36
  4. 820-840 South St.; $39.90
  5. 353 W. Harrison St.; $152.28
  6. 1456 R J Blvd.; $174.89

A motion to accept and allow the adjustments was by Boardmember Eric Bowlen.  Boardmember Terry Buster seconded the motion. The Motion passes 3-0.

MISCELLANEOUS

Resident Glen Rutherford, 1240 S. Main Street, appeared to ask the Board of Works to close the alley at his residence.  His reasoning is excessive traffic and trash.  City Engineer Josh Messmer will visit the site and report to the Board at a future meeting.
