MINUTES

Mayor Costin presented the Minutes of Monday, September 28, 2020.  There being no objections, the Minutes were approved by unanimous consent.

OLD BUSINESS

None

NEW BUSINESS

United Consulting / Supplemental Agreement #2 – Interim City Engineer Gary Oakes led a brief discussion regarding the South Street Project for 2022.  A motion to accept and allow the Supplemental Agreement #2 was made by Board member Kris Fuller.  Board member Kelly Bray seconded the motion.  The Motion passes 3-0.

Faith Missionary Church Property / Extension of Utilities – Interim City Engineer Gary Oakes reported Faith Missionary Church is located on the east side of I 69 at State Road 44.  FMC is asking the City to extent utilities and will voluntarily annex into the City.  Oakes went on to report an automobile dealership is also willing to building near the site if utilities are available.  A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member Kris Fuller.  Board member Kelly Bray seconded the motion.  The Motion passes 3-0.

Funding of 2020 Water Project – Funding has been received by the City from the State Revolving Fund for the 2020 Water Project.  Interim City Engineer Gary Oakes announced Miller Pipeline will begin replacing water lines on Morgan Street from Marion to Wayne on October 14th.  Other components of the project include: water plant upgrade with new lab and three new wells.  

Street Closure Requests – Board member Kris Fuller made the motion to allow the following street closures: November 11, 2020, Veterans Day Ceremony by the American Legion Post 230 for the southwest corner of the Courthouse Square from 11:00 a.m. until Noon.  Also included in the motion is the closure of the Square on December 6th for the Bobby Helms Jingle Bell Rock Music Spectacular the 2nd Annual Christmas Tree Lighting 2020.  Board member Kelly Bray seconded the motion.  The Motion passes 3-0.
