MINUTES

Mayor Costin presented the Minutes of Monday, January 25, 2021.  There being no objections, the Minutes were approved by unanimous consent.

MAYOR’S COMMENTS

Mayor Costin announced he and Gary Oakes, Director of Planning and Engineering, recently recorded a video regarding updates of the current water project for downtown businesses.  To date, there has been no feed-back.

NEW BUSINESS

Authorization to Send Tort Claims to Insurance Carrier – City Attorney Dale Coffey reported the City has been named in two tort claims.  The Board was asked to allow Coffey to forward the claims to our insurance carrier.  A motion to accept and allow was made by Board Member Kelly Bray.  Board Member Kris Fuller seconded the motion.  The Motion passed 3-0.

Consideration of Marked Crosswalks at Sycamore and Morgan Streets – City Superintendent Mac Dunn requested the Board allow crosswalks to be added at Sycamore and Morgan Streets.  Also, crosswalks will be added at Ohio and Morgan Streets.  A motion to accept and allow was made by Board Member Kris Fuller.  Making the second, was Board Member Kelly Bray.  The Motion passed 3-0.

There being no objections, the following were approved by unanimous consent.

  1. 229 N. Park Ave.; $998.76
  2. 889 E. Warren St.; $24.77
  3. 159 N. Main St.; $1,472.81
  4. 120 Cramer Pl.; $238.85
  5. 190 Boring Pl.; $246.59
  6. 160 S. Grant St.; $63.06
  7. 400 W. Sumner St.; $309.00

There being no further business, Mayor Costin declared the meeting adjourned.
