MINUTES

Mayor Costin presented the Minutes of Monday, March 22, 2021.  By unanimous consent, the Minutes were approved.

NEW BUSINESS

Street Closing Requests:

American Legion Post 230-made a request to close the streets around Veteran’s Park (corner of Washington and Jefferson) on May 30, 2021 for a Memorial Program.  The event will run from 11:00 a.m. until Noon.  A motion to accept and allow was made by Board Member Kelly Bray.  Board Member Kris Fuller seconded the motion.  The Motion passed 3-0.

Stability First / Rally in the Valley – A motion to table this item was made by Board Member Kris Fuller, Making the second was Board Member Kelly Bray.  The Motion passed 3-0.

Indiana Spirit of 45 – A request to have a 4th of July Parade Route was presented to the Board of Works.  The route will run as follows: beginning at John R. Wooden Middle School, head North on Sycamore Street to Jackson Street, Then, turning left to Jefferson Street then South, back to the school. A motion to accept and allow was made by Board Member Kris Fuller.  Board Member Kelly Bray seconded the motion.  The Motion passed 3-0.

United Consulting Supplemental #4 / South Street Reconstruction – Director of Planning and Engineering Gary Oakes requested the approval of Supplemental #4 to the original LPA -Consultant Contract with united Consulting.  A motion to accept and allow was made by Board Member Kelly Bray.  Board Member Kris Fuller seconded the motion.  The Motion passed 3-0.

SEWER ADJUSTMENTS

There being no objections, the following were approved by unanimous consent.

  1. 10 E. Poston Rd.; $487.56
  2. 739 S. Lincoln St.; $2,896.07
  3. 359 N. Grant St.; $75.44
  4. 185 S. Morton Ave.; $328.79
  5. 689 Duo Dr.; $114.85
