MINUTES

Mayor Costin presented the Minutes of Monday, April 12, 2021.  By unanimous consent, the Minutes were approved.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

Street Closing Requests:

Stability First / Rally in the Valley – Director of Planning and Engineering Gary Oakes opened the discussion of the street closure for June 12, 2021. Board Member Kris Fuller made the motion to approve the event with “rolling closures” on Washington Street.  Board Member Kelly Bray seconded the motion.  The Motion passed 3-0.

NEW BUSINESS

Grant Agreement with SoToxa Instrument Program – Police Chief John Richards requested the Board of Works approve a grant agreement with the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute.  The ICJI will allow the MPD the use of an instrument that will allow officers to test for drugs. A motion to accept and allow was made by Board Member Kris Fuller.  Board Member Kelly Bray seconded the motion.  The Motion passed 3-0.

SEWER ADJUSTMENTS

There being no objections, the following were approved by unanimous consent.

  1. 210 York St.; $2,295.90
  2. 420 W. Harrison St.; $301.77
  3. 1459 S. Harriett St.; $161.02
  4. 509 Dale St.; $95.71
  5. 139 S. Marion St.; $477.42
  6. 240 S. Marion St.; $1,098.98
