A regular meeting of the Martinsville Redevelopment Commission (RDC) met at 7:30 am on Wednesday, Nov 10, 2021, in the Council Chambers at Martinsville City Hall.
Commission members: Dair Grant, Al Myers, Rich Griswold, Paul Lauck, Phil Deckard Sr. were in attendance. Also in attendance were Dakota VanLeeuwen (by phone), Gary Oaks, Mayor Costin, Don Lipps, Troy Swan, Reporter-Times.
Meeting called to order by President Dair Grant.
Approval of Minutes:
The minutes of the October meeting were discussed.

Discussion of financial report:
902 Redevelopment balance $118136.06 for the month of Oct 1- Oct 31, 2021

Discussion of levee property acquisitions. These acquisitions will be major expense.
Notice of monthly meeting of the Martinsville RDC was approved and sent for advertisement to Reporter-Times
The 2022 Legal Services Employment Contract between Martinsville RDC and Dakota VanLeeuwen LLC law office was discussed. Paul Lauck had some concerns.
Al Myers made a motion to approve the 2022 Legal Services Employment Contract with Dakota VanLeeuwen LLC. There was no second and motion died. RDC decided to table the contract till the December meeting.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:30 am Nov 10, 2021
