A regular meeting of the Martinsville Redevelopment Commission (RDC) met at 7:30 am on Wednesday, Jan 12, 2022, in the Council Chambers at Martinsville City Hall.
Roll Call:
Commission members: Dair Grant, Al Myers, Rich Griswold, Phil Deckard Sr were in attendance. Paul Lauck was absent. Also in attendance were Dakota VanLeeuwen, Gary Oaks (phone), Mayor Costin, Don Lipps, Troy Swan, Reporter-Times.
Meeting called to order by President Dair Grant.
Approval of Minutes:
The minutes of the December meeting were discussed.
Motion to approve December minutes was made by Phil Deckard. Seconded by Rich Griswold. .

Motion to approve claims of $2,400 Motion made by Al Myers. Seconded by Rich Griswold.

Gary reported that Jefferson St will close soon for the start of the Performance Park
Property acquisition for work on Martinsville Levee Project to begin soon

Dair Grant nominated and elected for President 4-0 vote
Rich Griswold nominated and elected Vice President 4-0 vote
Al Myers nominated and elected Secretary 4-0 vote
Attorney Report:
Attorney VanLeeuwen had Martinsville RDV sign Public Official Bond for 2022
Attorney VanLeeuwen explained a private/public development project in the city of Noblesville that could be used as a model for funding future Martinsville RDC projects.
