MINUTES

Mayor Costin presented the Minutes of Monday, April 25, 2022.  A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member Kelly Bray. Board member John Lillywhite seconded the motion. The Motion passes 3-0.

MAYOR’S COMMENTS

Mayor Costin asked the Board to visit the area of 110 N. Main Street.  Those at the address are asking parking to be restored.  Action may be taken at the next meeting.  Also, the Board was asked to suggest some dates for workshops to discuss the Employee Handbook.

NEW BUSINESS

  1. Consideration of Street Closing Applications
    1. Rally in the Valley 5K Run and Walk – A motion to accept and allow the event on June 25, 2022 was made by Board member John Lillywhite. Seconding the motion was Board member Kelly Bray.  The Motion passes 3-0.
    2. Artie Fest 5K Run / Walk – A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member John Lillywhite with the condition the group will turn at Gray Street. Board member Kelly Bray seconded the motion.  The Motion passes 3-0.
    3. Morgan County Fair and Square 5K – Board member John Lillywhite made the motion with the same condition as for Artie Fest 5K Run / Walk to accept and approve. Board member Kelly Bray seconded the motion.  The Motion passes 3-0.
  2. Banning Engineering / Phase 4 GIS Contract – Department of Planning and Engineering Gary Oakes presented the contract for consideration. Amotion to accept and allow was made by Board member John Lillywhite.  Board member Kelly Bray seconded the motion.  The motion passes 3-0. Oakes said funding will come the TIF funds.
  3. Referring Tort Claim to Insurance Provider – City Attorney Dale Coffey suggested the tort claim be sent to the city’s insurance provider for consideration. A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member Kelly Bray.  Seconding the motion was Board member John Lillywhite.  The Motion passes 3-0. 

SEWER ADJUSTMENTS

A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member Kelly Bray. Board member John Lillywhite seconded the motion. The Motion passes 3-0.
