MINUTES
Mayor Costin presented the Minutes of Monday, May 9, 2022. A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member John Lillywhite. Board member Kelly Bray seconded the motion. The Motion passes 3-0.
MAYOR’S COMMENTS
Mayor Costin asked Police Chief John Richards if he had additional information regarding parking issues and the Burkhart family.
NEW BUSINESS
Consideration of Street Closings – Executive Assistant to the Mayor Mack Porter presented the following applications:
- Fall Foliage Festival – to close all main streets surrounding the downtown Courthouse, October 4 through October 6. A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member Kelly Bray. Seconding the motion was Board member John Lillywhite. The Motion passes 3-0.
- Fall Foliage Festival 5K Run / Walk – to close the route on October 9. A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member John Lillywhite. Board member Kelly Bray seconded the motion. The Motion passes 3-0.
- Fall Foliage Festival Parade – to close the parade route on October 9. A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member John Lillywhite. Board member Kelly Bray seconded the motion. The Motion passes 3-0.
Forestar Real Estate Group / Agreement Regarding Sanitary Sewer – A brief discussion resulted in a motion to table until a future date, by Board member John Lillywhite. Board member Kelly Bray seconded the motion. The Motion passes 3-0.
110 N. Main Street / Additional Handicapped Parking Spaces – A motion to table until July was made by Board member John Lillywhite. Board member Kelly Bray seconded the motion. The Motion passes 3-0.
SEWER ADJUSTMENTS
A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member Kelly Bray. Board member John Lillywhite seconded the motion. The Motion passes 3-0.
