MINUTES

Mayor Costin presented the Minutes of Monday, May 23, 2022.  A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member John Lillywhite. Mayor Costin seconded the motion. The Motion passes 2-0.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

Melissa Garrard, of Forestar Real Estate Group presented an updated agreement to the Board regarding the sanitary sewer for Hanna Farms Development.  A motion to accept and allow the agreement was made by Board member John Lillywhite.  Mayor Costin seconded the motion.  The Motion passes 2-0.

NEW BUSINESS

Consideration of Street Closings – Executive Assistant to the Mayor Mack Porter presented the following applications:

  1. Summer Concert Series – Rescheduling of the May 26th concert to June 30th.
    A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member John Lillywhite.  Mayor Costin seconded the motion.  The Motion passes 2-0.
  2. 4th of July Block Party / Life of Love Ministry Center – to close First Street to Pike Street from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p. m.  A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member John Lillywhite.  Mayor Costin seconded the motion.  The Motion passes 2-0.
  3. Gateway Fellowship Coffee House Celebration – July 3rd from 12;00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. A motion to allow the closure was made by Board member John Lillywhite with the stipulation that Lincoln Street would be used and not Gray Street. Further that there will be traffic control and a temporary stop sign. Mayor Costin seconded the motion.  The Motion passes 2-0.

Executive Assistant Mack Porter asked the Board to honor the 60-day notice rule and allow staff to accept or reject an application.  A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member John Lillywhite.  Mayor Costin seconded the motion.  The Motion passes 2-0. 

SEWER ADJUSTMENTS

A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member John Lillywhite. Mayor Costin seconded the motion. The Motion passes 2-0.
