The Martinsville Board of Zoning Appeals was called to order by Chairman Anna Elliott at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Martinsville, IN.
ATTENDANCE
Those members present were:
President Anna Elliott; Vice-Chairman Katie Barnard; Secretary Marilyn Siderewicz; Tom Hacker; and Dessen Miller.
Also in attendance: Bob Strader, Building Inspector, and Board Attorney Dale Coffey.
MINUTES: A motion was made by Katie Barnard to approve the minutes of the February 22, 2022, meeting. This motion was seconded by Tom Hacker and passed unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS:
Docket No. BZA22004: Development Standards Variance request to build a residential home across two lots: Address: 409 N. St. Clair Street and N. St. Clair Street; Legal Description: Lot 1 and Lot 2, George W. Robinson’s Addition: PID
# 55-09-34-352-002.000-021 and #55-09-34-352-001.00-021; Owner: Jerry L. Sichting; represented by Richard Bray, Attorney.
Board Attorney Dale Coffey reported that notification of the request had not been in the newspaper on time; therefore, the request would need to be tabled for a later meeting.
MOTION: Katie Barnard made a motion to table the Development Standards Variance request to build a residential home across two lots at 409 N. St. Clair Street and N. St. Clair Street. The motion was seconded by Tom Hacker and passed unanimously.
