Mayor Costin called the Martinsville Common Council to order on Monday, September 12, 2022. Pastor Chris Page led the Prayer to those in attendance. Mayor Costin then led the attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance.

MINUTES
Mayor Costin presented the Minutes of the August 22, 2022 meeting to the Council. A motion to approve as presented was made by Councilwoman Suzie Lipps. Councilman James Wisco seconded the motion. The Motion was approved 5-0
MAYOR’S REPORT
Mayor Costin reminded and encouraged everyone to sign for the City’s Rave messaging system.
NEW BUSINESS
Second Reading of Ordinance 2022-0039 – City Attorney Dale Coffey presented the ordinance to the council for their consideration and action. A motion to approve the ordinance as presented was made by Councilwoman Suzie Lipps. Councilwoman Ann Miller seconded the motion. The Motion was approved 5-0
Resolution Establishing Fund – The resolution was presented to the council by Mayor Costin. A motion to approve the resolution as presented was made by Councilwoman Suzie Lipps. Councilwoman Ann Miller seconded the motion. The Motion was approved 5-0
Resolution 2022-018 Adopting Indiana Code 5-23 – The resolution was presented to the council by City Attorney Dale Coffey. A motion to approve the resolution as presented was made by Councilman James Wisco. Councilwoman Suzie Lipps seconded the motion. The Motion was approved 5-0
CLAIMS
Mayor Costin presented the Claims to the council. A motion to approve the claims was made by Councilwoman Ann Miller. Councilman James Wisco seconded the motion. The Motion was approved 5-0.
MISCELLANEOUS
Councilwoman Miller asked for clarification on charges in the claims labeled Facebook.
Councilman James Wisco expressed gratitude for the agreement made between AT&T and the City to provide fiber internet to the citizens.
