MINUTES

Mayor Costin presented the Minutes of November 14, 2022. A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member Kelly Bray. Mayor Costin seconded the motion. The motion passes 2 -0 – 1. Board member Lillywhite abstained.

NEW BUSINESS

Traffic Study at Home Avenue leading into Jimmy Nash City Park –Deputy Police Chief Kenny Murphy reported a traffic study has been completed by his department. Deputy Murphy recom-mended signage be placed in the area. A discussion led the Board to agree to put signs up re-garding speed limit and children at play. Also, crosswalks will be painted when the weather permits. A motion to send the claim to the city’s insurance carrier was made by Board member John Lillywhite. Board member Kelly Bray seconded the motion. Motion passes 3-0.

Public Private Agreement / Envoy Construction Services – Director of Planning and Engineering Gary Oakes presented the agreement. The agreement is for the Martinsville Police Station Project. Action may occur at a future meeting.

SEWER ADJUSTMENTS

A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member John Lillywhite. Board member Kelly Bray seconded the motion. Motion passes 3-0.
