MINUTES

Mayor Costin presented the Minutes of January 23, 2023. A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member John Lillywhite.  Board member Kelly Bray seconded the motion. The motion passes 3-0.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

Stop Signs at South Street and Home Avenue/ St. Clair and South Street / Colfax and South Street – A discussion of stop signs at South Street and Home Avenue resulted in a motion to accept and allow by Board member John Lillywhite.  Seconding the motion was Board member Kelly Bray.  The motion passes 3-0.  A motion to accept and allow a stop sign at Colfax and South Street was made by Board member John Lillywhite.  Board member Kelly Bray seconded the motion.  A stop sign at South Street and St. Clair will be restored by the State.

NEW BUSINESS

Agreement Between Owner and Contractor for Construction Contract / Sewer Lining– Director of Planning and Engineering Gary Oakes recommended the Board approve the bid from Miller Pipeline for sewer lining in the amount of $1,724,677.95.  A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member John Lillywhite.  Board member Kelly Bray seconded the motion.  The motion passes 3-0.

Lease / Purchase of Police Vehicles – Police Chief John Richards to be allowed to purchase new police vehicles from Hobson Chevrolet.  Richards had a quote for Enterprise Car Sales for $47,159.00 per vehicle.  Hobson Chevrolet quoted $37,525.00 per vehicle.  A motion to accept and allow Richards to move forward with Hobson was made by Board member John Lillywhite.  Seconding the motion was Board member Kelly Bray.  The motion passes 3-0.

SEWER ADJUSTMENTS

A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member Kelly Bray.  Board member John Lillywhite seconded the motion.  Motion passes 3-0.
