Mayor Costin called the meeting Martinsville Common Council to order on Monday, February 13, 2023. Associate Pastor John Barrett of Hoosier Harvest Church led the prayer. Mayor Costin led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Clerk – Treasurer Becky Tumey was absent.
Mayor Costin reminded everyone to sign up for RAVE. White’s Electric will have a ribbon cutting in the near future.
Mayor Costin presented the Minutes of Monday January 23, 2023. An error was in the Minutes; a correction was agreed upon, then Councilman Phil Deckard Sr. made the motion to allow the Minutes with the correction. Seconding the motion was Suzie Lipps. The Motion passes 7-0.
AT&T Fiber Construction – Director of Planning and Engineering Gary Oakes announced the project is slated to complete in September 2024.
Capstone Project – Jamie Taylor, Martinsville Chamber of Commerce and Mack Porter, Executive Assistant to the Mayor gave the presentation.
Mayor Costin presented the Claims. A motion to accept and allow the Claims was made by Councilman Phil Deckard II. Councilwoman Ann Miller seconded the motion. The Motion passes 7-0.
There being no further business, Mayor Costin declared the meeting adjourned.
