MINUTES
Mayor Costin presented the Minutes of Monday March 27, 2023. A motion to accept and allow was made by Councilman Phil Deckard Sr. Councilman Phil Deckard II seconded the motion. The motion passed 6-0.
MAYOR’S COMMENTS
Mayor Costin reminded everyone of the city’s alert system: text Martinsville to 78015. Mayor Costin thanked all those that assisted with the clean – up after the recent storms. Mayor Costin congratulated Kayanna Traylor of Martinsville, she is expected to be picked during the WNBA drafts.

Resolution 2023-0038 / Adoption of Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan – City Attorney Dale Coffey presented the resolution. A motion to accept and allow was made by Councilwoman Ann Miller. Seconding the motion was Councilman Ben Mahan. The motion passed 6-0.
CLAIMS
Mayor Costin presented the Claims. A motion to accept and allow was made by Councilman Phil Deckard II. Councilwoman Ann Miller seconded the motion. The motion passed 6-0.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Resident Donna Burkhart commended the city for the swift clean – up following recent storms.
