MINUTES
Mayor Costin presented the Minutes of May 22, 2023. Board member John Lillywhite made the motion to accept and allow the Minutes. Board member Kelly Bray seconded the motion. The mo-tion passes 3-0.

NEW BUSINESS
Traffic Study / Consideration of Request for a Stop Sign at Grant and Nutter Streets – Police Chief John Richards reported several shifts had observed the area at various times. Richards does not recommend a stop sign currently.
Local Grind – tabled
Traffic Study / Holden Street and Northwestern Avenue – Police Chief John Richards and his de-partment will conduct a traffic study around Holden Street and Northwestern Avenue.
Envoy Services / Change Order – Director of Planning and Engineering Gary Oakes presented the change order. A motion to accept and allow was made by Board member John Lillywhite. Board member Kelly Bray seconded the motion. The motion passed 3-0.
Parks Department Request to Close Jefferson Street – A motion to accept and allow a portion of Jefferson Street to be closed on June 17th was made by Board member Kelly Bray. Board member John Lillywhite seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Special Event / Street Closing Application: Executive Assistant to the Mayor Mack Porter present-ed the proposed street closings.
a. Artie Fest – A motion was made to accept and allow various street closings around the Square on July 29th, by Board member Kelly Bray. Seconding the motion was Board member John Lillywhite. The motion passed 3-0.
b. Artie Fest 5K Run and Walk – A motion to accept and allow various street clos-ing beginning at 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on July 29th was made by Board member Kelly Bray. Board member John Lillywhite seconded the motion. The motion passed 3-0.
